Help with your childcare costs 
Eligible families can use Tax-Free Childcare to help pay for their nursery fees.
For every £8 you pay into your Tax-Free Childcare account, the government adds £2.
We are registered to accept Tax-Free Childcare payments at Sêr Bach.
🌈 Funded Childcare for 2-Year-Olds
We offer funded places for eligible 2-year-olds.
Funded children are entitled to:
🕘 2.5 hours per day
📅 Monday to Friday
⏰ 9:00am – 11:30am
📚 Term time only
🌈 Funded Childcare for 3-Year-Olds
At Sêr Bach, you may be able to access this type of funding the term after your child turns 3 years old.
- your child must be aged 3 or 4 years old
- you live in Gwynedd, Anglesey or Conwy
- you must earn at least the National Minimum Wage or living Wage for 16 hours a week on average
- each parent must earn less than £100,000 per year
- parents of two parent families must both be working
💷 Universal Credit
Universal Credit may help eligible families with their childcare costs. 💛
If you are working and receive Universal Credit, you may be able to claim back some of the childcare costs you pay, helping to make nursery fees more manageable.
